Ronnie Long Park sits outside the Tallebudgera Surf Life Saving Club at the northern end of Palm Beach, a few steps from the sand. The main play area is a surf-lifesaver-themed climbing tower on rubber softfall, decorated with lifeguard and surf rescue panels, with red slides off each end, climbing walls, a spiral climber and a maze underneath. Beside it are a rope merry-go-round, a big nest swing and a swing set, all under blue shade sails. This zone is fenced along the highway side but only partially, with open entry points, so bolters still need watching near the carpark.

A second, sand-based area closer to the club suits toddlers: a junior slide-and-climber unit, a red plane to climb aboard, spring rockers and a small swing frame. Between the play areas and the beach path there is a set of outdoor fitness stations, so parents can get a workout in while keeping the playground in view. Toilets, including a disability toilet, picnic tables and a drinking fountain are all onsite, with parking at the Surf Club carpark. There is no barbecue.

The club itself reopened in January 2025 after a $9 million rebuild, and the ground floor now holds the Bean Surfing Beach Cafe, open 5:30am to 2pm daily, right beside the playground. The cafe welcomes dogs, and the adjacent Tallebudgera Dog Beach is an off-leash area, though dogs must stay on a leash in the park and out of the playground areas.
